This page says what we do with your data. It is short because we collect little.

Responsible for your data is ANKOR, see the imprint. Write to the address above for anything on this page.

What we collect, and why

• When you order: name, delivery address, email, and the order itself. We need this to deliver and to keep the books.

• When you write to us or fill in a form: your email and whatever you tell us. We use it to answer you.

• When you ask for the 10 % code or sign up for news: your email, and your answers if you take the short test. We use them to send you the code and, from time to time, news from ANKOR. Every email has a link to unsubscribe, and you can also write to us.

• When you reserve an ANKOR: your email, and your name if you give it. We use it to contact you when the product is ready. Nothing else.

• When you visit: our host records standard technical data such as IP address, browser and pages viewed, and we see aggregated visitor statistics. If you agree in the cookie banner, Microsoft Clarity records how you use the pages, as session recordings and heatmaps. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

Who else sees it

Only services we need to run the shop, and only as far as they need it:

• Framer, hosting of this website.

• Shopify and its payment providers, for the shop, for payments and for sending emails such as the 10 % code and news.

• FormSubmit, which forwards form entries to our inbox.

• Google, Firebase in the region Zurich and Google Sheets, where we store form entries to keep track.

• Microsoft, for Clarity, only if you agree in the cookie banner.

• Google Fonts, which delivers the typefaces of this site, so your IP address reaches Google when a page loads.

• Our email provider, and the postal or courier service that brings you the parcel.

Some of these companies are based outside Switzerland, so your data may be processed in the EU and EEA (mainly Ireland), in the United States and in Canada. For the United States we rely on providers certified under the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it on for advertising.

Social media

ANKOR has profiles on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. If you visit them or follow us, the privacy policies of Meta and Pinterest apply there. We only see what the platforms show every profile owner, such as public comments and aggregated statistics. This website contains no Meta or Pinterest tracking.

Cookies

This site uses cookies that are needed to make it work, and Shopify sets its own cookies during checkout. Microsoft Clarity only loads if you agree in the cookie banner, and you can change that at any time in the cookie settings. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice data for ten years, because Swiss bookkeeping law requires it. Your email for news until you unsubscribe. Everything else only as long as we need it, and we delete it when you ask.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, and withdraw a consent at any time. Write to support@ankor.one and we will answer. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner in Bern. If you are in the EU, the GDPR rights apply to you in addition, including data portability and a complaint to your local supervisory authority.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection. Payment data never reaches us: it goes directly to the payment provider.

Changes

If this changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
