One founder’s problem with a phone that had no place. Then it turned out he wasn’t the only one.

ANKOR gives the phone a fixed place. One location, one clear state. Not restriction. Not another app to manage. A boundary you can see and touch.
Our Vision
To make ANKOR the reason a phone has a place in every home it enters. The block is temporary. The place is permanent.
Three people, one object.
ANKOR is designed, built and packed in Basel. This is who does it.
The founder
The first ANKOR was built by our founder for his own flat: a mount on the wall, an NFC chip, and a shortcut that silenced the phone when it was placed. It looked unfinished, and it worked. Everything since is that idea, done properly.
“I never set out to build a product. I came home, the phone pulled me in against my will, and I wanted one place in my flat where it wasn’t the one deciding.”
Leon
Leon joined once the first version already existed and turned a working hack into a real product. He is the reason ANKOR is something you can order, instead of something we describe.

Daven
Daven is a Product Owner at Endress+Hauser in Reinach, leading a team in AI-supported B2B commerce, after MediaMarkt Switzerland and Manor. He joined ANKOR to give the way we build it the same structure as the product.
